Liw Volpini nasce nella contea di Wencheng, situata nella provincia di Zhejiang (Cina), il 9 Novembre 1983.
Dopo aver frequentato il liceo artistico di Crema, entra nel mondo della grafica e dell’arte, frequenta l’Istituto Europeo di Design, specializzandosi in Art Direction.
Entra così in contatto con gli ambienti artistici di Milano e inizia a farsi conoscere con l’acronimo LVM.
La ricerca dell’equilibrio guida l’artista attraverso la crescita umana e l’estetica itinerante: Zhejiang, Milano, Bangkok, Sydney e ancora Milano.
Un viaggio umano che interiorizza e trasmette nelle sue opere attraverso la tecnica da lei chiamata RainPainting,
e che le permetterà di esprimersi in numerose mostre collettive di artisti emergenti e nel campo del design.
Dopo aver sperimentato diversi linguaggi pittorici, sceglie di avere l’Uniposca, l’iconico pennarello, come compagno di viaggio.
Tela, carta e gesso ospitano mondi eterei, paesaggi immaginari, micro habitat che le consentono di esprimere la linea sottile tra leggerezza e irrequietezza, tra Zen e ossessioni.
Un flusso costante, lento ma inesorabile, che, attraverso una scrittura micro-emotiva, trasformando i flussi creativi in spore e pioggia e permette di tradurre in segni grafici le contraddizioni cognitive dell’artista.
Ogni opera rappresenta una trama infinita di stati d’animo brevi e fugaci, ansie, speranze, ricordi, un modello che è il risultato di una densa e paziente trascrizione della nostra fragilità e mutevolezza umana, dei picchi ed abissi che incontriamo nell’eterna e intima guerra emotiva.
Lo spettatore, superato l’impatto cromatico nella sua interezza, è spinto ad avvicinarsi alle opere e cercare il dettaglio, il particolare, il singolo tratto, nell’ancestrale e vana esigenza di semplificare le mille sfaccettature del flusso di coscienza che colora e determina ognuno di noi.

A constant flow, slow but inexorable, which, through a micro-emotional writing, transforms the creative flow into spores and rain and allows the artist’s cognitive contradictions to be translated into graphic signs.
Each work represents an infinite plot of brief and fleeting states of mind, anxieties, hopes, memories, a pattern that is the result of a dense and patient transcription of our fragility and human mutability, of the peaks and abysses that we encounter in the eternal and intimate emotional warfare.
The viewer, having overcome the chromatic impact in its entirety, is pushed to approach the works and seek the detail, the particular, the single trait, in the ancestral and vain need to simplify the thousand facets of the flow of consciousness that colors and determines each one our.
