Michele Tombolini è nato a Venezia nel 1963, dove ha frequentato la scuola d’arte e i corsi aperti di disegno di nudo.
All’interno delle sue opere, la pittura ha sempre occupato un posto importante fin dalla sua giovinezza. Le opere che produce sono di grande formato, quasi a cercare di contenere l’energia vitale e l’impulso interiore che creano, a contatto con la realtà circostante.
Dal 2012 ad oggi, Tombolini si è concentrato sull’esplorazione dei linguaggi della performance art, delle installazioni e delle sculture, puntando allo stesso obiettivo onnicomprensivo: espandere i limiti della percezione verso la tridimensionalità.
Da oltre vent’anni espone sia in Europa, sia negli Stati Uniti e in Asia.
Nel 2013 è stato invitato ad esporre a “Personal Structures” Palazzo Bembo, in occasione della 55° Biennale di Venezia.
Nel 2014 ha realizzato una grande installazione murale nel centro di Berlino, creando un’importante realtà aumentata “interattiva”.

Michele Tombolini was born in Venice in 1963, where he attended art school and open courses in nude drawing.
Within Tombolini’s works, painting has always occupied an important position since he has been painting since his youth. The works he produces are in large formats, almost trying to contain the vital energy and the inner impulse that create, in contact with the surrounding reality.
From 2012 to today, Tombolini has focused on exploring the languages of performance art, installations and sculptures, aiming at the same all-encompassing goal: expanding the limits of perception towards the three-dimensional.
For over twenty years, he has exhibited both in Europe, in the USA and in Asia.
In 2013 he was invited to exhibit at “Personal Structures” Palazzo Bembo, on the occasion of the 55th Venice Biennale.
In 2014 he created a big murals installation in the center of Berlin, creating an important “interactive” augmented reality.
